Aparna Chikkam Aparna is a versatile artist expressing her creativity in oil, acrylic paints and murals. She employs rich and vibrant colors, and curves typical of Indian women while delineating their daily lives on canvas, reflecting her nostalgic existence in her adopted home. Depending on her mood she sometimes dabbles with abstract art too. She is a self-taught artist though some influences of the Indian city of Mysore, where she spent her adolescence, are evident. In the last few years she has exhibited her works to the public in Dallas, TX and Seattle, WA including three exhibitions for CRY.
